Season 1 is the first season of Babies, and originally premiered on May 9, 2013, on YouTube.

The season was originally going to have 13 episodes, however that was reduced to 6 episodes later on. There were a few episodes either partially animated, or scrapped, such as "Valentine's Day", "The Freaky Friday", "The Door" and a two-part Minecraft special that would've been animated using recorded gameplay of the game. "The Aliens" was also originally going to be a full one-part episode, but series creator James Adam was learning Flash at said time and decided to split up the episode into two.
The season has not aired an episode since January of 2014, since James decided to scrap the Brony episode (and indefinitely end the series as a whole), feeling unsatisfied with it. However, he has decided to produce a proper finale for the series, which is estimated to air sometime in late 2015.
